Code of Ethics

Physiotherapists are responsible for conducting themselves ethically in every professional practice situation. To assist physiotherapists to determine the most appropriate ethical conduct in situations of uncertainty, the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario has adopted a values-based Code of Ethics and a stepwise decision-making model.

WHY TO STUDY ETHICS?

Being internationally educated, this segment was totally new to me. I have struggled a lot to pick one answer out for 4-5 options closely set. Clear understanding of principles will help you reach the correct answer and save a lot of time on exam day.

I live in Ontario and while preparing for my PT License exam both written and OCE I used College of Physiotherapist of Ontario website a lot.

Being in the field of Physiotherapy for over 5 years has expanded my horizons. Studying Internationally has impacted me deeply and made me realise the importance of having and providing a safe space and a non-judgemental environment for those who dream big.
